Vision Hospitality Group Inc. recently opened a new 94-room Hampton Inn in Lookout Valley.
"We are pleased to be opening another hotel in our hometown of Chattanooga," Vision President and CEO Mitch Patel said. "The Hampton Inn brand is one of the best hotel brands available today, and our continued partnership with Hilton reinforces our ongoing strategy to invest in premium brands in strong markets."
The Hampton Inn at 74 Starview Lane is one of seven new hotels the development company expects to open this year. The hotel includes indoor and outdoor pools, a meeting space, business center and fitness facility.
This Hampton Inn's 94 rooms are just a slice of the 728 new hotel rooms that are due to be added this year and next in the Chattanooga market. The supply of rooms is expected to jump by about 7.5 percent, according to Smith Travel Research.
A 203-suite Embassy Suites is opening this month on Shallowford Road and a Hampton Inn & Suites with 134 rooms is scheduled to open in September near Hamilton Place.
