Chattanooga has announced it will be conducting neighborhood inspections Friday in Avondale/Wheeler Avenue and Clifton Hills.
Inspection teams check out properties in neighborhoods to prevent violations and to maintain healthy and safe conditions for residents, a news release said.
Homeowners will receive a notice if they have specific violations and will be given a chance to bring their properties into compliance in a set period of time, it was stated. Should a property owner fail to get his property in compliance, they could be cited to court, the release said.
