Reward offered for info on recent Marion County gun thefts

MARION COUNTY, Tenn. — Marion County detectives are investigating a recent string of gun thefts.

The sheriff's office is hoping its new Crime Stoppers program will help them put the thief or thieves behind bars.

Marion County Sheriff Ronnie "Bo" Burnett says while he's offered rewards on other cases since getting state money for Crime Stoppers a few months ago, nothing has panned out yet. Now he's hoping it will be the ticket to solving a recent string of burglaries.
