A man driving on Tunnel Boulevard in Chattanooga last night told detectives he was shot by a suspect in a separate vehicle driving past him.
Chattanooga police responded to the 600 block of Tunnel Boulevard around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release.
When officers arrived, the victim, 43-year-old Tracy Shaw, was walking away from the scene with gunshot wounds to his hand and elbow. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of the nonlife-threatening injuries.
Detectives said they believe Shaw was targeted by the suspect, according to the release.
