Ironman Chattanooga spots sold out three minutes after registration opened at noon today.
Andrew Messick, World Triathlon Corporation CEO, tweeted around 12:30 p.m. that all spots were filled up that quickly.
"Ironman Chattanooga just sold out. 3 minutes." his tweet said.
No details were available about how many spots were open at the time of registration.
Ironman Chattanooga will be held September 28, 2014.
