Maybe some definitions and details about Homosexuals and sodomy throughout the day will open some closed eyes.

From Merriam Webster:

Full Definition of SODOMY

anal or oral copulation with a member of the same or opposite sex; also : copulation with an animal

— sod·om·it·ic or sod·om·it·i·cal adjective

The real issue in this recall effort (led by an preacher who is an outsider) is it has the strong appearance of a religious effort to impose a specific religious interpretation that removes him because of his sexual orientation (there is no recall on the other members of the council that voted for the ordinance).

We may not agree with his sexual orientation and every protestant religious dogma does not condemn him for it, but nevertheless, he was elected by his constituents who all had the chance to vote in the regular election, and what he does at home in that regard is his business not ours.

"Episcopal Priest Says Citizens Must Understand What Homosexuals Do to Each Other"

" Episcopal priest, F. Earle Fox, says citizens must understand what homosexuals do that makes them a “homosexual.” "

"The following figures are taken from one of the largest (850 pp.) studies on this subject, "The Gay Report" (1979), by two homosexual researchers, Karla Jay and Allen Young. The pair and their respondents are stunningly candid. According to their research:"

"Around 99% of homosexual males engage in oral sex; 91% engage in anal sex; 82% engage in "rimming", touching the anus of one's partner with one's tongue and inserting the tongue into the anus; 22% engage in "fisting", inserting one's fist into the rectum of the partner; 23% engage in "golden showers", urinating on each other; 4% engage in "scat", the eating of feces, and in "mud rolling", rolling on the floor where feces have been deposited."

"Homosexuality and the Bible"

"by R. Albert Mohler, Jr. President, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary"

"The affirmation of biblical authority is thus central to the Church’s consideration of this issue — or any issue. The Bible is the Word of God in written form, inerrant and infallible, inspired by the Holy Spirit and “profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” [2 Timothy 3:16]."

"Those churches that affirm, confess, and acknowledge the full authority of the Bible have no choice in this matter — we must speak a word of compassionate truth. And that compassionate truth is this: Homosexual acts are expressly and unconditionally forbidden by God through His Word, and such acts are an abomination to the Lord by His own declaration. These are strong words, but they are the Bible’s words."

During the last cycle the voters removed most members of the city council because they wanted to spend spend spend. Then comes along Mr Anderson. Did he not understand he was elected to be a steward of our tax dollars? At a time we are restructuring police and fire pensions and cutting benefits to long term employees , Mr. Anderson wants to bestow benefits on non married non city workers? This is the reason I signed the first petition to have this put on the ballot. Non married city employees should not get to have it both ways. If your live-in wants to file single on their w-2 and receive earned income credits head of household credits and many other benefits that are bestowed on single people making little or no money, why am I expected to pay them through my tax dollars so they can claim a survivor's pension and healthcare on the city's dime? Who else would be able to file single on their taxes to maximize their financial gain while simultaneously getting all the benefits of being married as far as the city is concerned? Seems like double dipping to me! Or in years past we would call it fraud. But wrap it in an argument for equality and all the sudden the opposition can be reduced to bigots. Double think much? If you truly want to fight for equality then one of two things need to happen. Either allow gays to marry so there will be no double standard or stop discriminating against single people through the tax code. By this I mean stop all tax breaks given to married people that singles can not receive.

Eventually gays will be allowed to marry. The police and fire pension issue will be settled before these petitions are voted on, which takes away the argument that this is all about fairness to first responders.

When I was younger, my church taught me that if you got divorced, you could not be a member of the church. If you remarried, you were committing adultery. So, why aren't we talking about the "divorced lifestyle." One isn't born divorced, it's a choice. Why aren't we talking about the cost of providing tax funded benefits to remarried partners? Of course, I decided that my church was full of it and it pretty much cured me of organized religion.

Since you repeatedly and selectively quote from the Bible in your condemnations, please tell us if we should also adhere to the bibical instructions above? I've heard all my life that God did this because mankind was evil.

Okay...I can possibly buy that every adult man and woman might have evil lurking in their hearts, but EVERY one?

Then we have to digest the fact that God also killed children, and surely many of them were infants or very young. Were they evil?

Were the animals all evil?

If the Bible is to be taken literally and it is God's word, then how can one not arrive at a logical conclusion that the Bible outlines the largest mass-murder of all time?

Homosexual acts are repulsive to normal people, yes, normal people. What is normal? Normal is a man being attracted to a woman. There's something fundamentally wrong with a man who wants to stick his penis in another man's anus, to want to put his mouth on another man's penis. That's the way it is, that's the imagery that pops up automatically. That's what defines them because they want it that way. The "gay" movement wants more than anything, apparently, to have everyone put the normal stamp on their sexual behavior. It will never happen.

According to con-man and zableed, I'm curious what forms of heterosexual sex God allows and what forms are on his "forbidden" list. Is doggy-style between a man and a woman okay, or is that making the woman's anus a little too tempting for some guys? And if the woman happens to like anal sex is she considered as evil as homosexuals? How about cunnilingus? Fellatio? Yea or nay? I guess golden showers between a man and a woman are definitely taboo (way too kinky for God's taste, I guess), or is it only between men that it is verboten?

So, is the missionary position between a man and a woman the only "righteous" and Biblically allowed form of sex? And does the man have to keep his Puritan hat on and the woman her bonnet while doing it? And even then, if you do it only for pleasure, is that a sure ticket to hell?

Come on, guys...how about making a list of allowable sex for the benefit of us unenlightened sinners. Call it "Puritan sex doesn't have to be boring! How to have fun in the bedroom with your mate and still get to heaven." We're waiting.

PT, have you even read the Old Testament? It is comprised of nothing but blood-letting in the form of murder, genocide, and infanticide, all at the command of God. Then there is rape, incest, slavery, misogyny, and pillaging, all of which God not only condones but often instructs his "chosen" people to carry out on those whose primary sin was simply not being his "chosen." After reading it the only conclusion that any semi-intelligent, rational person can come to is that the God described there is not only NOT loving and compassionate but a sadistic tyrant. But then, I have long suspected that reading comprehension is not your strong suit.

Rickaroo, you're throwing up a smokescreen. That's not the issue. The issue is GAYS are constantly in everyone's face. They've chosen to define themselves by their sexual acts.

It's not just a matter of being acceptable, it's clearly, unquestionably, abnormal and deviant. It's just like the illegal alien situation, and the stupid and massive effort by libs to deny that illegal aliens are not illegal, and that if you don't agree with that then you're a xenophobe. Could it possibly be that what they've done is not acceptable?

Jason Collins, that NBA player who came out as gay, will be sitting with MO at the state of the union address tonight? Why? What makes him so heroic. Are we supposed to bow down and kiss his feet because he came out in public and let it be known that he likes humping another guys ass? No matter what gays do, they will always be defined by their sexual acts because they will never stop attacking those that don't think they're normal. Which they're not.

Gays will be able to marry, get divorced, get benefits and all of that. But that won't be good enough because they want a big stamp of approval for their sexual behavior.

January 28, 2014 at 2:24 p.m.

GAYS can do what they want, when they want to, they will be able to marry, divorce, do whatever. They have and will have the same rights as everyone else does. What's normal for you may not be normal for someone else. What attracts you sexually, even in terms of being straight, might turn other straight people off.

Normal is what is normal for each individual.

I forget who brought up the subject, but it would be very interesting to know where God stands when it comes to the many divorced people who remarry and go on to have families.

Biblically, each and every one of those people are adulterers. Their children are the result of adulterous relationships. Are they legally or Biblically bastards?

I'm sure that there is a "Christian" apologist out there that can set the record straight, and still leave room for criticism of those they personally find reason to pass judgment upon.

The very fact that Jesus was given birth, and came out as little helpless small baby is enough to refute the claim that Jesus is God.

It is utter blasphemy to claim that God came out of a women like all people, it is utter blasphemy to claim God came out crying and screaming and being helpless and weak.

Such nonsense is insulting to God; this itself is enough to prove Jesus is not God. How can you claim that God came out of a woman?

Are you mad? Are you insane? How can you insult God in such a manner? Some of you Christians should be ashamed of yourselves for ascribing such rubbish to God.

TOES, one need not indulge in "web surfing" to be familiar with those terms. Many, if not most, couples who have an active and enjoyable sex life indulge in most or all of those acts at least occasionally. Admittedly, golden showers are a bit of a stretch, something that most people consider too kinky, but then, that is entirely up to the individual(s). Of course, I have no doubt that in the eyes of you righteous folk, you see those who dare to be so "kinky" as eaten up with sin. (Damn those sodomites!) I have a sneaking suspicion that it is you puritanical holy rollers who are too afraid or too righteous to venture outside the bounds of the missionary position who are most likely to get off viewing porn, so you can see others indulging in the things you're too afraid to try yourself. Con-man probably gets off really good on all that gay porn.

As for my capitalizing the word "fellatio," that is just what you do when you follow the rules of basic grammar that you should have learned in the 3rd or 4th grade. Whenever you begin a new sentence the first word of that sentence is to be capitalized. Now, I admit that one word does not a complete sentence make, but that is just something that many people sometimes take the liberty of doing when they write. So if you want to berate me for anything, then get all over me for making a one-word sentence, but getting your panties in a wad over me capitalizing "fellatio" only shows you don't know what the hell you're talking about. But then, I knew that already.

I know I'll be hated on but can't resist commenting on this. Firstly, for conservative, the Bible is NOT the word of God, let alone infallible! Hardly! If that were true, the world wouldn't be as screwed up as it is. It's ashamed that the one time God decided to see if man could be responsible enough to proclaim his love and acceptance for humanity, man screwed it up! Man did with the word what he does with everything. He twisted it, changed it, corrupted it and made it to match what HE thought people should know and hear. The word as it exists now is sexist, full of fear and hate and dominance. It's full of deception. It brain washes those without enough will or education to think for themselves and as long as you say 10 hail Mary's every Sunday, you can do whatever you want and still be forgiven. The TRUE word of God, is so much more. It's full of death and also life. For a person to see, to TRULY see, they have to believe that God does what is perceived as both good(the good things that happen), as well as bad things(NOT EVIL, just things that we see that we THINK are bad but all it is, is that we as humans, don't understand the reasoning behind his logic). I always found it comical that when something good happens, it's "praise God!" but when something bad happens, it's "God moves in mysterious ways." Bull crap but that's beside the point. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a homosexual, as y'all like to use to refer to men like me. I'm in a inter-generational/interracial relationship and my Husbear(a stocky or heavyset man)and I were married(a civil union, by the laws of Tennessee)on June the 30th, of last year, after being together for three years and I'm a Christian. What's the difference between me and other Christians? I'm using the brain that The Lord gave me! Did He(God) kill trillions of people and saved but two of each animal and a few human beings? sure he did! Do I know why? No I do not! Who am I or anybody, to dare imagine what such a divine being was thinking, when he did that! I'll hazard a guess.... Punishment? Population control? to clean a world, that was over flowing with wicked men and women? Hell yeah!(Hell is a place, even if we're found other definitions for it) I believe some of the stuff in the Bible but to say it's the unadulterated Word of God is just irresponsible and plain out stupid.

I actually had a man argue with me, telling me that God wrote the Bible! After several attempts to rationalize with him, I finally advised him to call his pastor, which he did. The pastor set him straight and all but this man had a wife and family! Can you imagine growing up, with him instilling in you that you should obey the Bible because God wrote it and it's his word? But I digress. Well Alprova, you said that a "Christian apologist," would chime in! Bet you didn't see me coming, did you? Not that it matters because I'm NOT apologetic. I simply believe differently since I think for myself, instead of going by something that's been written and rewritten by man so many times that the true translation and meaning was lost, decades ago. The Bible is somewhat holy but the Word of God? The TRUE word of God, written by men? I don't think I have to go into detail, just how ludicrous that rhetorical question is. Secondly, I don't live in district 7, but have family that do and they say that Chris Anderson is doing just fine and that of course, people want him out of there, because in addition to seeing to and trying to improve the lives of those that live in district 7, he's also clamoring and alerting people that this republican, tea party state has laws and rights that are not equally shared and enjoyed, by all people. Let me repeat that.... HAS LAWS AND RIGHTS THAT ARE NOT EQUALLY SHARED AND ENJOYED BY ALL PEOPLE!! Not black people. Not gay people. Not white people but ALL people! And unfortunately, those violations apply considerably, to the GLBT(Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual & transgendered)people. To Mr. Conservative, about what gays do in the bedroom, WE ALL do things like that in the bedroom! There's no such thing as "gay sex" or "straight sex." You wanna talk about weird stuff? Go to your nearest adult book store or in fact, go online and get a copy of the Kama Sutra, which most of you guys don't know, is Indian Hindu based(feel free to Google that fact). There's VERY FEW, if any, that don't enjoy a good ole fashioned "BJ & tea bag," from his ole lady. I have many straight friends and they ask me for advice. A LOT! You'd be surprised... Well maybe not, not that most of you would admit, how much you boys like your butt holes licked! I'm not even going to get into S & M and the role playing games straight boys(When I say boys, I mean men, in a casual sense)play, when you ask your wife to put on a cheer leading uniform. Or a nurse uniform. Or even a naughty elf uniform! That research Mr. Conservative refers to from 1980's to the late 90's has so many flaws in it, it would be to wordy for me to point them all out! With actual up to date information, from psychologist around the world. All of this information is irrelevant. This is supposed to be about if Chris Anderson is doing an adequate job, representing his constituents.

It's so sad, that a community would risk the betterment of their neighborhood, all because they don't agree with his lifestyle or some of the battles he chose. THIS, is why the nation is the mess that it is today! If people were honest and actually focused on the WORK that the person does and NOT what their sexuality is and worrying about their sartorial choices, this(the world)would be a far better place! Since I'm on the roll, one more thing. Just because YOU(anybody)have a problem with someone different than yourself, it doesn't give you the right to force your way of life or religion on them!

Hatred and oppression wrapped in religious fervor is still bigotry! Remember that. The good book says "Love all neighbors as yourself." Mark 12:31 It doesn't say love thy neighbor, if thy neighbor is straight! And also, 1 Corinthians 13:13 "12For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known. 13But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love." AND Galatians 5:6 "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love." I can go on and on... THESE, I believe are the Words of God. These days, I'm like man I hope the world doesn't end in my life time! Other times, I'm like, Lord PLEASE come and lead your people!! We are so lost! Either way, one things for sure... Sooner or later, THERE WILL BE A RECKONING! I'll rather live my life, as best I can, than try to live a "life" men full of fear, ignorance, deceit and control "thinks" I should live! God bless you Chris Anderson! Whatever the future holds for you, may the creator always watch and guide your path. May His love, grace, forgiveness and guidance brings us to the one and only true prince of peace, our Emmanuel. I know all are not Christians and there's some that don't believe. Whatever you consider yourself to be or whoever you follow, I offer this small poem... May the sunlight find you and your days be long, your winters be kind, your soul and health be strong. When you travel, may your family see you again and at your sight, always bring their sadness to an end. I say goodbye as we agree to disagree my friend, in the hopes that one day, we'll chat again...

Firstly, what you said was ""Anal sodomy, the dominant homosexual behavior, is the most efficient means of transmitting Aids, the most lethal disease of our generation. You "claim" you're a practicing Christian but that site you so kindly referenced, is nothing but a hate group, that's trying desperately to hang on to the ways of old. The old, where black people are slaves, women only stay home, clean the house, cook and have children and the so called "men" run everything. Now, anybody with a brain, (which thanks to your response, I can now tell you're nothing more than another brain washed zealot) knows that the best way to protect themselves from disease, is to limit your partners and practice monogamy, or in your case, marriage. Being a homosexual doesn't mean that we have all the diseases or that they came from homosexuals. Since you call yourself being factual, let me share some facts with you and what I've learned, from working with an HIV & AIDS organization. YOU, Mr. Conservative and men like you, who can't keep their thing in their pants, are why STD's are spreading so rapidly! You, who probably go to church and go home and try to prove how macho you are, while you're secretly hooking up with men on craigslist, is why disease is running rampant. Then you go home and make out with your wife(I guess you have one but probably not, with you proving what a small minded Judeo-Christian you are) while you're hooking up with men on the side. If you're a hater, just say you're a hater and be done with it! If you going to hide behind the Bible and your little hate group, at least be a man about it and admit that you hate gays and be done with it. It hurts and makes you mad, don't it? When somebody does research and has better, more current information than you do, instead of posting articles from almost 50 years ago? Be a man conservative! If you're going to be a hater, at least TRY to show some originality, by typing your own ideas and thoughts, besides what people have already been there, done and did and moved on.

Conservative is truly stupid, damaged and beyond repair. These "fake Christians" really do get under my skin, with their 14th century arguments and points. And by the way dip wade, homosexuality isn't a choice! If it was a choice, why don't you be a man and tell me how many hook ups with guys that you had, before you CHOSE to be heterosexual. I've never been with a woman and never desired sexual companionship with a woman. I've always been a man about who I was, even though it almost got me killed more than once. You know what men like you are called conservative? "Closet men." Should I explain that or can your narrow mind grasp the concept? Men like you, that inspire hate and spread misinformation and not being educated enough to know better are what's wrong with this world today.

I didn't expect you to read them conservative. Lord knows we wouldn't want you to read them and actually force you to have a logical debate about something that you're to stupid and old fashioned to realize that your point isn't valid on. I really do wish there was a time machine, so the creeps like you that want the country to be ran like it's still 1970 could stay there and let the people that actually believe and want to live in the future live in peace. I actually attend college with a stuck up old hag like you and when we have discussions, we've all gotten to the point to where we just ignore him and go on, like he's not even there. That being said, take the hint creepy, as I no longer wish to acknowledge your twisted and hateful faith and bitterness. Hummm Your bitterness does remind me of an old hag, whose upset because she couldn't get the man that she wanted.... Remember that, the next time you try to convince to people that you're not an undercover drama queen.

The petition obviously wasn't getting much support anywhere else. So a decision was made somewhere along the way to get black clergy (money?) involved who could in turn influence their parishoners. Sort of like killing two birds with one stone? Go after gays, using the black community, and also mock Dr. King's dream of equality for everyone? Dr. King's stance wasn't about equality for blacks only. The stance was taking a stand against injustices, intetolerance no matter where or when they reared their ugly heads. Yesterday, today and always.

A study was carried out a few years ago that found most individuals ordering online porn lived in red states.

If the study you referred to is the one linked to below you might want to review the details once again.

http://people.hbs.edu/bedelman/papers/redlightstates.pdf

“Controlling for broadband access, states show remarkable similarity in their subscription quantities.”

The following characteristics increase the prevalence of ordering online porn.

Increased affluence ... 15 to 24 age bracket ... college degrees .... urban areas

Sure sounds like a bunch of metro-sexual young fleabagger men pounding their "puds" .... LMFAO!!

Once I did, I saw his true colors and intent instantly! That's why we live and we learn though... Fool me once, shame on you.... Fool me twice, shame on me BUT NEVER a third time! You're good, if you can get me the second time! LOL And he posted that same crap earlier! Does this guy not have a brain of his own or is he just that brain washed? I honestly feel sorry for people like him, that try to pretend and fool others into believing that he actually lives a righteous life... Unfortunately, him and men like that claim to be Christians, have a very underdeveloped sense of discernment, so instead of truth, the uneducated rely on people who claim to speak on His behalf. Today, the Church has men like him and is overloaded with people who have lost all fear of tagging Jesus’ Name on the end of what they say. They call themselves prophets. They claim to have some sort of special pipeline to God through which He channels His messages to the masses. Funny thing about those messages: they’re always what the people want to hear....

It was that white people, mostly white men, occasionally went berserk, and grabbed random black people, usually men, and lynched them. You all know about lynching. But you may forget or not know that white people also randomly beat black people, and the black people could not fight back, for fear of even worse punishment.

This constant low level dread of atavistic violence is what kept the system running. It made life miserable, stressful and terrifying for black people.

White people also occasionally tried black people, especially black men, for crimes for which they could not conceivably be guilty. With the willing participation of white women, they often accused black men of "assault," which could be anything from rape to not taking off one's hat, to "reckless eyeballing."

Very interesting and thought provoking linke, Houseboi2014. I selected to above excerpts to point out what exactaly has changed? We still have stop/frisk. Certain neighborhoods are off limits, esepcially after dark. Blacks in America are still overly represented in the penal system. They changed out their white hoods and sheets for a badge and uniform, and some now even have black faces just like their victims. A young 16 year old can get his testicles ruptured during a routine stop frisk. Stop/frisk is unconstituional and therefore illegal. But it happens all across America, even Chattanooga. America incarcerates more of its citizens than Russia did during its Gulag.

Not a fake story. It's real. I thought the same thing, only for a different reason, when another poster posted something about the story here: Like how can someone, specifically supposedly professional be so cruel?. So I spent days researching the story, reading articles nationally and internationally and the story is real, although it's mostly being ignored in America media, but there are still American news carrying the story. You know, sort of like local media is controlling the story of the boy who fired shots outside that school on the mountaintop? He doesn't even have his mug posted on TFP just busted. And the media seems to purposely be misspelling his last name. Lander? Ladner? Don't wanna destroy little J.R.s future? Family connections? Family ties?

Darrin Manning, the young Phila teen who allegedly ended up with a ruptured testicle after a stop/frisk encounter:
