The Belgium-owned IVC recently broke ground on the new complex this week. The 300,000 square foot LVT plant will enable IVC US to keep all its domestic manufacturing activities on the same site. It is anticipated to be completed and fully operational in the first quarter of 2015.

"We are very excited to partner with a local general contractor, Fox & Brindle Construction Co., and to have the support of the local community," Xavier Steyaert, Co-CEO, IVC US, said in a statement released today. "This new LVT plant is an ambitious venture, and one that will add 200 Georgia jobs and continue to strengthen our region."

IVC was founded in 1997 and has quickly grown to become one of the largest independent global players in the floor coverings market with more than 1,200 employees and products for residential and contract use.
