McMinn County Mayor John Gentry wins GOP primary

McMinn County Mayor John Gentry won the Republican primary today with 4,187 votes.

There was no Democratic candidate, which essentially makes this Gentry's re-election.

Challenger Kelly Shepard took 2,468 votes and Tracy Carter took 442.
