Blue Wahoos outlast Lookouts, 3-2

PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Pensacola Blue Wahoos edged the Chattanooga Lookouts 3-2 in Southern League baseball Thursday night.

Pensacola broke a 1-1 tie in the eighth inning on a Juan Silverio single to right field, a Juan Duran RBI double to left and a Steve Selsby RBI single to right. The Lookouts (14-19) pulled within 3-2 in the ninth when Brian Cavazos-Galvez reached on a throwing error and scored on a Scott Schebler single.

Chattanooga took a 1-0 lead in the first inning when Jeremy Hazelbaker opened with a triple to right and scored on a single to center by Cavazos-Galvez.

The finale of the five-game series is tonight at 7:30 EDT. Garrett Gould (1-4, 6.41 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts.
