Based primarily on its last two wins -- over Bowling Green, Ky., and Ensworth -- McCallie has jumped into the 12th spot in the CBS MaxPreps South Region football computer rankings.
The Blue Tornado, who host fellow unbeaten Baylor on Friday, are nine-tenths of a point from joining the top 10. That No. 10 spot is currently held by Maryville. Baylor stands 17th, 2.1 points behind McCallie.
The only other Tennessee teams in the top 25 for 13 states and the District of Columbia are Blackmon at No. 15 and Brentwood Academy at No. 21.
