Young woman abducted in Cumberland County

Officials in Crossville, Tenn., are searching for 21-year-old Layla Faith Aperans, who they believe was taken by 44-year-old Douglas Davis around 9 p.m. last night, according to a news release from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

The pair left a residence in a gold 1998 Toyota Camry, after Aperans was allegedly taken from the residence against her will.

Aperans is described as a white female, 5'4 and weighing 115 lbs. She has brown hair, blue eyes, and has a large tattoo of multi-colored stars that connect to make a flower on her right side, according to the release. She was last seen wearing a light green T-shirt and blue jeans.

Davis is described as a white male, 5'7 and weighing 194 lbs. He is bald with hazel eyes and multiple tattoos on his arms and legs, according to the release.
