The pair charged in the November 2012 slaying of former Jo Dee Messina stage manager Thomas Colucci face a January trial date in Coffee County, Tenn.

Circuit Court officials said the trial date is Jan. 20, 2015, and a motion hearing is set for Nov. 3.

Defendant Connie Sanders King was engaged to Colucci and is the former wife of co-defendant Troy King, 41 when he was arrested. Troy King is charged in the killing with first-degree murder, felony murder and theft over $1,000. He was taken into custody in March 2013 in Imperial Beach, Calif., and extradited to Tennessee.

Connie King, 37 at the time of her arrest, is charged with first-degree murder and felony murder. She was taken into custody at the Indian Motorcycles shop in Daytona Beach, Fla., where she worked as an office manager in July 2013.

The Kings are accused in the Nov. 13, 2012, shooting of Colucci at his Maple Springs Road home in Manchester. Colucci was found dead of multiple gunshot wounds and Connie King was seen running down the street covered in blood, according to Coffee County authorities.

Connie King maintained at the time that she and Colucci had been attacked, authorities said.

Coffee County Detective Chad Partin said during the investigation that Troy King had been the primary suspect from the beginning, but investigators had not indicated Connie King as a suspect until her arrest.

Colucci, originally from Erial, N.J., worked with Messina's crew and was working with the band 311 when he was killed, according to an official with Nashville production Crew One.

The Kings are being held on bonds at jails in Coffee and Franklin counties.
