The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball team was picked second in both the coaches and media polls, announced this morning at the Southern Conference Media Days in Asheville, N.C.
Wofford, who won the SoCon tournament and went to the NCAA tourney last season, was the preseason pick to win.
The Mocs had two first-place votes in both polls, finishing with 226 points in the media poll and 70 in the coaches' poll.
In addition, junior Casey Jones was selected to the coaches' preseason all-conference team.
