Southern rockers Remembering January will be among the bands entertaining Saturday, Sept. 6, for Freedom Rocks, an all-ages street festival celebrating American freedoms.

Also performing are 1st John 5, American Vacation, Blackbird Revival and the Buckner Brothers Band. Speakers will include Jason Halliburton of the Georgia Black Republican Council, Congressman-elect Barry Loudermilk and Congressman Tom Graves.

Activities will take place from noon to 9 p.m. at the new city greenspace (the old Lee Printing building) at 101 S. Hamilton St. in Dalton, Ga.

Up to 60 vendors will be on-site with foods, arts and crafts; the Dalton Depot, 110 Depot St., will host a beer garden for adults 21 and older. Seating is bring-your-own.
