Bones found by a hunter Friday in a field near Boy Scout Road appear to be those of a human, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says.
The sheriff's office said it was notified around noon of the discovery in the 1000 block of Boy Scout Road and sent investigators to the scene.
Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division are working with the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office to process the scene.
More information will be released later, according to the news release.
