Bojangles will open its first location in Soddy-Daisy next week with a variety of giveaways for opening day guests, including a full year of free Bojangles breakfast combos every week for one lucky customer.

Bojangles, which already operates five company-owned stores in Hamilton County, is opening its newest 3,800-square-foot restaurant at 9375 Dayton Pike next Tuesday.

Bojangles is building another restaurant, also on Dayton Boulevard, in Red Bank. Bojangles senior communications manager, Brian Little, said that restaurant should open in late June or early July.

A typical Bojangles restaurant costs about $1.7 million to build and employs 70 full- and part-time workers. The 75-seat restaurant will serve all of Bojangles signature menu items -- including Bojangles' famous breakfast biscuits -- seven days a week.

"We are as excited about opening in SoddyDaisy as we were when we opened our first restaurant in this community," Bojangles Regional Vice President Dion Firooznia said. "We believe Soddy-Daisy will be a great place to do business, and we look forward to being part of the business community here."

Bojangles said it also will offer free iced tea with any purchase from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and a free kids meal with any purchase from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. next Tuesday. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Bojangles is offering a coupon for a free ham, steak or sausage biscuit.

For those who can't wait for next Tuesday's opening of the Soddy-Daisy store, they can get a free 22-ounce iced tea at the drive-through window from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
