Reservations are being taken now for the next Painting For a Purpose, which returns to the 6th Cavalry Museum on Thursday, Jan. 30, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The museum is located at 6 Barnhardt Circle in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Guests will paint "Winter's Song," shown, led by artist Durinda Cheek.

The $40 fee includes appetizers, a 16- by 20-inch pre-stretched canvas, paint supplies and instruction so that everyone leaves with a completed work of art. Door prizes and music will add to the fun.
