Bessie Smith Strut officials confirmed this morning that today's event will go on, rain or shine. There are no plans to move the event indoors.
The National Weather Service predicts a 100 percent chance of precipitation today, with thunderstorms possible. Tonight showers are likely and the chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
