On Saturday, Dec. 14, Chattanooga police responded to a call of an unconscious person located on the 2900 block of Morgan Avenue. The call was received at 5:49 p.m., according to a news release.
When investigators arrived at the scene, they found 40-year-old Lisa Johnson lying in a yard with gunshot wounds. Hamilton County Emergency Services later arrived and pronounced Johnson dead from her injuries, the release states.
