Love where you live at Raptor's Roost

photo Raptor's Roost boasts large lots, good schools and a family atmosphere.

Tucked away on Signal Mountain is the new home of the up-and-coming Raptor's Roost: An Eagle Crest Development just off Sawyer Cemetery Road.

Lots in the community feature beautiful wooded areas in a quiet and secluded location just above Falling Water.

There are also brow and off-brow lots available with views of the valley below.

"You really feel like you live inside the mountain," said Tina Frizzell, vice president of developer Pratt Home Builders. "There are beautiful hiking trails throughout the community, and it's fabulous for nature lovers. There are some of the best sunrise views in Chattanooga."

She added that lots are quite large, starting at 1 acre and going up, making it an ideal place for growing families.

"It has all the amenities that living on that side of the mountain has to offer," Frizzell said.

Floor plans range from 3- 5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms. Designs cover up to 3,900 square feet of living space. The community is zoned for Thrasher Elementary School and Signal Mountain Middle/High School and is located near all the rich history the town of Signal Mountain has to offer.

"Many people in the area have children," Frizzell said. "The school system is great here, and there is a very strong sense of community."

Raptor's Roost is located just off Sawyer Cemetery Road, approximately 17 minutes to all the new developments in Hixson on Highway 153 and about 20 minutes to downtown Chattanooga.

There is a model home open Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1-6 p.m.
