Linda Hufstetler

PLAINVILLE Linda Fay Hufstetler, 66, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, in Redmond Regional Medical Center.Linda was born on June 6, 1947 in Flat Rock, Ala. She was the daughter of the late Robert Travis and Mary Ellett Travis. She was a member of Meadowdale Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Travis.Survivors include her husband, Gary N. Hufstetler, of Plainville; one son, Chris Anthony, of Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Misty Gallman, of Calhoun; two stepsons, Joseph Hufstetler and Brian Hufstetler, both of Plainville; one brother, Bob Travis, of Pensacola, Fla.; four sisters, Jo Guinn, of South Pittsburg, Tenn., Nell Jordan, of Cleveland, Tenn, Kate Hammons, of Chattanooga and Marsha May, of South Pittsburg; eight grandchildren also survive.Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, July 19, from the chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Pearson officiating.Burial will follow in Scott Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today, July 18, at Thomas Funeral Home.You may leave the Hufstetler family online condolences at www.thomasfuneralhomecalhoun.com.Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Linda Fay Hufstetler.
