Thelma Washburn

Thelma T. Washburn, 89, of Chattanooga, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Washburn retired after 40 years with Provident Life Insurance Company. She was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church and the Fidelis Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Washburn Jr.; parents, Leslie H. and Goldie Edith Templeton; brothers, Leslie H. Templeton Jr. and James H. Templeton.She is survived by her sisters, Barbara T. Jones, Buford, Ga., and Betty T. Stewart, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Art Jones officiating.
