Leo Smith

Leo Smith, 86, passed away at an area hospital on Wednesday April 27, 2011.He was a member of Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church. Leo retired from the Bledsoe County School system after 29 years as a school bus driver. Leo enjoyed life, singing, praising God and fellowshipping with his friends at Scotties.He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; son; Randall, parents; Hobert and Eulah Campbell Smith, brothers; Willis, Lester, Gather, Verno, and J.C. Smith., and a sister; Minnie Stonecipher.Leo is survived and will be sorely missed by his sons, Clifford (Leeann) Smith, Pikeville, and Eddie (Shelia) Smith of Crossville, Tenn.; daughters, Patsy (Freddie) Savage, Dunlap, Tenn., and Vickey (Jerry) Eller, Crossville, Tenn.; grandchildren; Randy (Jennifer) Smith, Adam Smith, Tina (Anthony) Frady, Susan (James) Troglin, all of Pikeville, Tenn., Jeffery Savage, Monteagle, Tenn., Trish Savage, Ringgold, Ga., Jason (Marsha) Smith, Sparta, Tenn., Megan (Brett) Wyatt and Brittany Eller, both of Crossville; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Brian and Kaitlyn Smith, Dylan and Brandon Walker, Bella Wyatt, Hailey McGhee, Tabitha, Logan and Lorrain Frady; and one great-great-grandchild, Silas Burgess.A celebration of his life will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home today, April 30, 2011, at 1 p.m.Burial will be in Seals Cemetery.Please share your thought online with the family at www.pikevillefuneralhome.com.Pikeville Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
