James Robertson

ROSSVILLE James Robertson, 84, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at his residence.He had lived most of his life in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area where he attended New Haven Fellowship Church. His passions in life were his family, traveling, and shooting pool.He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Robertson; and mother, Priscilla Dacus.Survivors include his wife, Priscilla Robertson; four children, Laurie Reardon, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., John Turnipseed, of East Ridge, Darlene Myers, of Rossville, and Keith (Stephanie) Robertson, of Fort Oglethorpe; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Jack Sexton officiating.Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from noon Friday until the funeral hour at the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home & Crematory, Rossville.
