Jimmy Bibbs

Jimmy DeForrest Bibbs, 18, passed away Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011. He was a graduate of Howard High School, and attended Chattanooga State Technical Community College until the time of his death and was a member of New Born Primitive Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, DeForrest Davis; uncles, Richard and Charles Bibbs; grandmother, Lillie M. Cox; great-grandmother, Louise Seals.He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Tasha Davis; brother, Jeremy Bibbs; grandfather, Jimmie Lee Cox; uncles, Luther, Lynn(Ronda), and Greg (Francena) Bibbs, all of Chattanooga; aunt, Carolyn (Tony) Miree; other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Highland Memorial Gardens. The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
