BELVIDERE James Russell Jackson, 84, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012. Russell was a former resident of Rossville and was of the Christian Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Inez Jackson; parents, William and Rodie Campbell Jackson; and brothers, Clayton Jackson and Lloyd Jackson.Russell is survived by his sister, Ruth Mae Brunkhart; brothers, William (Betty) Jackson and Billy (Ann) Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memorial Gardens-South. The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today and prior to the service on Saturday. Arrangements by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home.
