Jr.Arvil William Cook Jr., 73, of Chattanooga, a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 20, 2012.He was preceded in death by his mother, Dessie Rector; father, Arvil Cook Sr.; sister, Betty Jo Gifford; brother, Kenneth Cook.He is survived by his wife, Sandra Minor Cook; three daughters, Dianne Michelle Cook (Keith Custalaw), Carol (Daniel) Doss, Billie Jean (Craig) Rogers, all of Chattanooga; three sisters, Mary Ruth Tarver, Denise (Dean) Ervin and Janie Cook; three brothers, Bobby Underwood, Jeff Cook and Benjamin Cook; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.The family will receive friends from 29 p.m. today and 9 a.m.9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.Online guestbook available at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by W.L.
