CHATSWORTH Bobby Ray "Slab" Patterson, 71, died Monday, July 23, 2012, at his residence.He was preceded in death by his parents, Erskin and Lola Patterson; brothers, Robert and Virgil Patterson; and a sister, Lucy Jones.Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Patsy Hancock Patterson; children and spouse, Bobby and Tricia Patterson, of Ringgold, Scott Patterson and Tracy Patterson, both of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Whitney, Amethyst, Marissa, Cassidy, Caroline and Emma; great-grandson, Noah; sisters, Mamie Betterton and Peggy Flood; brothers, Earl, Junior and William Patterson, all of Chatsworth.Services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday from the chapel of Shawn Chapman Funeral Home.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 until 4 p.m. Wednesday.Arrangements made with Integrity by Shawn Chapman Funeral Home, Crematory and Monuments.www.shawnchapmanfh.com.
