ROCK SPRING Thomas "Tom" Murphy Duvall, 75, passed away Friday, April 5, 2013, at his home.He was a lifelong resident of Rock Spring and was of the Baptist faith. Tom retired from North Georgia Electric after 34 years of service. He was a collector of model cars and classic Studebakers. Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather that will be greatly missed by all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Addie Roberson Duvall; and six sisters.Survivors include his wife, Marlene Williams Duvall; son, Clifford Williams; daughters, Patricia Canales and Brenda (Bobby) Weaver; two brothers; four sisters; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, in the LaFayette Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home with Andy Arnold officiating.Burial will follow in LaFayette Memory Gardens.The Family will receive friends Sunday after 4 p.m. and prior to the service on Monday at the funeral home.The family would like to thank Hospice of Chattanooga for their care and compassion.An on-line guest book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home LaFayette Chapel.
