Jeanette Miller

Jeanette Daughtrey Miller, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013.She was retired from DuPont after 30 years of service. She was an active member of Daisy Womens Club, Soddy-Daisy First Baptist Church and the Welcome Sunday School class. Jeanette was an avid animal lover, a rock of the family and the community, and a friend to many.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil A. Miller; sister, Norma Daughtrey Garrett; parents, Homer and Lucille Daughtrey.Survivors include her sons, Allen (Trina) and Michael (Beth) Miller; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Services will be held on at 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Lee Griggs and Rev. Doug Duty officiating.Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
