Jr.TUNNEL HILL Charles Edwin Shook Jr., 81, passed away Sunday April 28, 2013.A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, he was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of Cagles Lawn and Garden.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Charlie" Shook Sr. and Clarabell Chadwick Shook; sisters, Jean Blackwell and Marcia Treece.He is survived by his son, Doyle (Joyce) Shook, of Tunnel Hill; and stepson, Ronnie Long, of East Ridge; sister, Pat Babb, of Tunnel Hill; brother, Dickie Shook, of Ringgold, Ga.; two grandchildren, Brian (Lisa) Shook, of Ringgold, and Dusty (Kim) Shook, of Acworth, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Layla Presley Shook and Lilly Claire Shook; along with several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. today and Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral home.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold, Ga.
