Grace Cofer

Grace Sadler Cofer, 100, of Chattanooga went home to be with the Lord Sunday, April 28, 2013.She was born Sept. 3, 1912 in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn. to the late Jasper Newton and Daisy Turner Sadler.Mrs. Cofer was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church and the Margaret Helms Sunday School Class.She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alfred Cofer; son, W.A. Cofer Jr.; sisters, Dona Mae Roberts and Louise Armstrong; brother, Elisha Sadler; and niece, DeeDee Coe.Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Carolyn Cofer, of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, Alan (Robin) Cofer, of Hixson, Dub (Jill) Cofer, of Ringgold, Cindy (Mark) Hixson, of Chattanooga; great-grandchildren, David (Tara) Cofer, Will (Michelle) Cofer, Laura Cofer, Drew Hixson, Rob Cofer, Clay Cofer and Kyle Hixson; great-great-grandchildren, Anna and Liam Cofer; niece, Lisa (Steve) Frost, of Signal Mountain; nephew, Col. Gary (Maureen) Sadler, of Front Royal, Va.; and seven great-nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, April 30, in the North Chapel with the Rev.
