SOUTH PITTSBURG Robert Ray King, 65, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at his home.The son of the late Gertrude Hall and John King Jr., he was a U.S. Army veteran and a former employee of Lodge Manufacturing having retired in 2009. He was of the Methodist faith and was preceded in death by his parents; ex-wife, Linda King; grandparents, John and Dola Mae King and John and Mary Ida Hall.He is survived by his wife, Kay Kilgore; children, Linda Gail Smith and Kris (Glen) McCurry, Cheri Fugate (Owen) OReilly, Stephanie Stonesifer and Gary (Tiffany) Mosley; sisters, Wilma (Paul) Hibbs, Connie (Marlon) Nelson, Sara June (Marc) Lee; brother, Roger (Liz) King; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 2 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, with Rick and Loranda Lyons officiating.Interment will be at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper.Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.rogersfuneralhome.com.The family will receive friends for visitation from 3-9 p.m CDTtoday, April 30, at the funeral home.
