Brenda Ellis

Brenda Davis Shropshire Ellis, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2013 at the Hospice Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mose and Iola Davis. Survivors include her husband, Robert Ellis; son, DMarcus Bailey; daughters, Ametrius (Rod) McGlocton, Amanda Paris all of Chattanooga, and Kaylyn Ellis of Saginaw, MI; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Joe Johnson of Chattanooga, Randal (Mattie) Davis, of Chickamauga, Ga., and Anthony (Janette) Davis, of W. Springfield, Mass.; sisters, Pauline (Minister Charles) McGraw, Deborah (Johnny) White, Viola Jordan, Stephanie (DVosta) Leverett, Terria Davis all of Chattanooga, and Annette Davis, of Waterfront, NY; a host of uncles; aunts; nephews; nieces; cousins; other relatives and friends. The body will lie-in-state on Tuesday Dec. 31, after 9:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Minister Charles McGraw as the eulogist. Private family burial will be at a later date.
