Emily Smith

Emily Anne Smith, 26, of Chattanooga, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. Her sister, Shelley, along with her grandparents were anxiously awaiting her arrival. She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by sister, Shelley Marie Smith; grandparents, J.C. and Lora Smith; grandmother, Nell B. Roy; special aunts, Thelma Roy, Avie Roy; and her uncle, Earl Roy. She is survived by her dad and mom, Hugh L. and Pamela K. Smith; grandparents, Douglas F. Roy and Penny Roy; aunts and uncles, Kent and Eleanor Smith, Dennis and Donna Smith, Brad and Suzan Smith, Joel and Laura Smith, Wendy and Chuck Cronon, Jamie and Lisa Roy, Phil Roy, Wanda Ferguson, June Smith, Jim and Mandy Roy, Jim and Jean Beam, Edith Davis and special cousins. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014, at Bayside Baptist Church, Highway 58, with Pastor Eric Stitts officiating. Interment will follow in Tyner Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 48 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and from 10 11 a.m. Friday at the church prior to the service.
