Shirley Hill

Shirley Ann Hill, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013. An alumnus of GPS and the University of Chattanooga, Ms. Hill was a CPA and worked as a computer programmer for TVA. She was a devoted dog lover. Ms. Hill was preceded in death by her parents, Wendell D. and Carlys B. Hill; brother, Wendell D. Hill, Jr.; and nephew, Wendell D. Hill, III. Survivors include nieces, Sharon Marie Hill and Carlys Ann Hill; and nephew, James Michael Hill. A gathering to commemorate her life will be held from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held in Forest Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be made to the Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, 212 N. Highland Park Ave., Chattanooga, TN 37404.
