Barbara Gaddis

Barbara Jean Taylor Gaddis, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.Mrs. Gaddis was born and raised in Chattanooga. She was of the Baptist faith and was a dedicated mother and wife.Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Elbert Gaddis, Jr.; sons, Steve Gaddis, of Chattanooga and Darrell Gaddis, of Soddy Daisy; brothers, James (Yvonne) Taylor, of Tullahoma, Tenn., and Larry Taylor, of Soddy Daisy; sister, Diane Taylor, of East Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Emma Taylor.Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, and from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home.Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Tate and Rev. Chris King officiating.
