RINGGOLD Leon Walker, 69, passed away Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, with his wife of 35 yrs. by his side.Leon was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and a member of Gods family through his Baptist faith. He was member of the VFW and American Legion, retired from TVA and was a man who loved his big boy toys.Leon was preceded in death by his parents, L.M. and Nellie Walker.He is survived by his wife, Marie Walker; sons, Tony Walker and Todd Walker; brother, Bill Walker; grandsons, Christopher; who was raised by his grandparents and Cody; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Ray Dotson officiating.Entombment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.The family will receive friends after 1 p.m. today and prior to the service on Monday. Arrangements by W.L.
