Herman Johnson

James "Herman" Johnson, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013.A Harrison resident for over 40 years, he was past master of Harrison Lodge 114.Herman was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Plumber and Steamfitter of Local 43.He was an an avid crappie fisherman and a dedicated Tennessee Volunteer fan.He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Douglas and Flora Lockhart Johnson; an infant son James David Johnson; one sister, Elsie Lee Morrison; three brothers, Leo, Leon and Kenneth Johnson.Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Jeanette Baker Johnson; one son, Chuck Johnson; three precious grandchildren, Joseph and Abigail Johnson and Kelsey Cagle, all of Harrison; sister, Gladys Meeks, of Spring City, Tenn.; several nieces and nephews.A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
