Elva Woy

Elva Woy, 87, of Hixson, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013.She was co-owner, with her husband, of Woy Grill in LaGrange, N.C. Elva loved her husband, all children and her gardening.She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Carol Minnick.Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Charles H. Woy; daughters, Sondra Darlene Nicholas, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Barbara (Roger) Gravitte, of Randolph, N.J.; sons, Charles Gionfriddo, of Rolla, Mo. and Ronald (Jeanne) Gionfriddo, of Forestville, Conn.; stepdaughter, Mary (Rick) Atwood, of Jacksonville, Fla.; stepson, Charles E. (Tracy) Woy, of Hixson; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace with the Rev. Craig Paul and Rev.
