Sr.George William Ball Sr., 73, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.He was a native of Chattanooga, who was a graduate of the Howard High School Class of 1959.He retired from the Mueller Co. after 37 years of service.Survivors include his loving wife, Johnetta Ball; daughter, Rachel (Eric) Thomas; son, George Ball Jr.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Ball; brothers, William Miller and Clifford Ball; two aunts; two uncles; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, in the chapel with Pastor Ezra Maize officiating and Pastor Leslie Lewis, Eulogist. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon today and the family will receive friends from 56 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
