Eva Jackson

Eva Mae Jackson, 74, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, in a local hospital.She was a member of Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Nesby Jackson; father, George Lawrence; and mother, Ella Mae Moore.Survivors include sons, Robert Hamilton, of Atlanta, Henry Hamilton, of Memphis and Lyndon Hamilton, of Nashville; daughters, Debra (Cleveland) Jolly, Patricia Hamilton, Elizabeth (Jack) Hayes, all of Atlanta, Wanda Hamilton, of McMinnville and Angela Jackson, of Chattanooga; 22 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; brothers, James Roland, of Atlanta, and Keith Lawrence, of Chattanooga; sister, Gwendolyn Lawrence, of Chattanooga; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends.The body will lie in state after noon today at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel with Pastor Billy Ryan as the eulogist.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
