Cora Roberts

ROSSVILLE Cora Lee Roberts, 82, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at her home.She was a resident of Rossville since 1970 and was of the Church of Christ faith. She was a former employee of the Catoosa County School System and she enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking and loved spending time with her family.She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Roberts; son, Frankie Roberts; and eight brothers and sisters.Survivors include her children, Tony (Marilyn) Roberts, Steve Roberts, Polly (Tim) Carter and Diane Martin; sister, Jane (Wayne) York; brother, Jim Savage and nine grandchildren.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Brown officiating.Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friend on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 a.m. until the funeral hour in the funeral home.Arrangements by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory located at the end of Historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
