Dennis Ziegler

Dennis Ziegler, 82, of East Ridge, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013, at his home.He was a member and former Sunday school teacher at East Ridge Baptist Church. After graduating from Baylor University he began a career with Interstate Life Insurance Co. until they moved their offices to Jacksonville, Fla. Dennis finished up his career with Ward Ziegler and Associates. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea.He was preceded in death by his siblings, Nixola Ziegler, Rex Ziegler, Earl Ziegler, Lema DePaul, Ward Ziegler, Leon Ziegler and Jean Gross.Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Faye Ziegler and Geraldine Ziegler; one brother-in-law, J.H. Gross; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Guenther officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S.
