David Ronald Smith, 57, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at his home.He was born Dec. 9, 1955, in Chattanooga. He was a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church and Celebrate Recovery.Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Janis Smith.Survivors include his son, Christopher David (Kim) Smith; granddaughter, Kaleigh Smith, all of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Hillary West, of Chattanooga; parents, Marvin and Peggy Smith; brothers, Mike (Gennie) Smith, of Clarksville, Mark Smith, of Chickamauga and Joey (Karen) Smith, of East Ridge; sister, Jennie (Tim) Smith Anderson; best friend, Tiffany Coker; several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, July 22, at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Saturday and from 2-9 p.m Sunday.Memorial donations may be made to Home of Grace, P.O.
