Maxella Lawrence

Maxella Lawrence, 76, of Chattanooga, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in a local hospital. She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Provident and later retired from Southern Provision. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred and Maxie Turner; husband, Frank Lawrence; sister, Florene Brown; brother, Carl Caruthers; and son, Winfred Turner, II. Survivors include children, Ronald Turner, Greta Turner, Gerald (Edith) Turner, and Moses (Valerie) Turner all of Chattanooga; grandson, Keith Turner of Dailyville, Ga.; and 18 other grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Lovie Dee Turner of Chattanooga; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends. Visitation is today from 7-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.A graveside will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Highland Memorial Gardens with Pastor Willie Ison as the eulogist.
