David EdwardsRINGGOLD Dr. David Charles Edwards, 59, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Dr. Edwards was a member of New Heights Baptist Church. He was Dean of the College of Business at Tennessee Temple University. He trusted Christ as a teenager and had actively served the Lord in various ministries throughout his life.Dr. Edwards was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edwards.Survivors are wife, Karen Edwards; daughter Jennifer Buckles; sons, Joshua (Kathleen) Edwards, Joseph (Alicia) Edwards, and Jason (Melody) Edwards; mother, Ellen Edwards; sister, Mary (Ken) Weigert; grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Angelica, Kelli, Colton, Isabelle, Zi, Micah, and a grandchild yet to be born.Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 18, at New Heights Baptist Church; Rev. Dan Hamby will officiate. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
