Myralay Johnson

Myralay Colvin Johnson, 90, of East Ridge, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at her home.She was a native and had lived in Jasper, Ala., until February 1955, when she came to Chattanooga. She was employed with Robert Hall Clothes for 20 years. She was a member of Spring Creek Church of God and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years.She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Peck Johnson.Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Doyle and Tammy Johnson, of Ringgold; daughter and son-in-law, Darlene and Randy Slegl; grandsons, Mark and Paul Slegl, all of East Ridge; sister-in-law, Louise Colvin, of Jasper, Ala.; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 3 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Bennie Mills officiating.Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-6 p.m. Sunday and noon-1:30 p.m. Monday.Please share your thoughts and memories at www.chattanoogaeastchapel.com.Arrangements are by Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S.
