Trammell Gilbert

Jr.Trammell Lee Gilbert Jr., 73, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at a local healthcare facility.He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Erma Jean Gilbert; father, Trammell Lee Gilbert Sr.; mother, Lillie Chaney; son, Trammell Lee Kelly.Survivors include: seven children, Stephanie Kelly Williams, Kathy (John) Sligh, Todd (Pearline) Kelly, all of Chattanooga, Leslie (John) Gilbert-Willhite, of Moreno Valley, Calif., Vickie (Timothy) Thomas, of Varnell, Ga., Gary Kelly, of Pineville, La., Jeffery (Loretta) Kelly, of Oakland, California; two sisters, Willie Mae Evans and Glenda Welcher; brother, Wallace Grissom, all of Chattanooga; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.Visitation: today from 7-8 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.Funeral service: Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor John Willhite as the eulogist.Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens.
