Daniel GrossRINGGOLD Daniel "Boonie" Lamar Gross, 65, passed away in a local healthcare facility on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013. Mr. Gross was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, North Georgia area and member of Mission Ridge Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Vietnam War. Daniel was the owner of Twin Cedar Truck Sales Inc. for over 10 years and worked at Lee Smith Inc. for over 30 years. He is preceded in death by parents William Gross and Jean Gross Duke and brother, James W. Gross.Survivors are wife of 43 years, Elouise O'Dell Gross; son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and LeAnn Gross, Chattanooga; Step-father, Ted Duke, Chickamauga; grandchildren, Bella Gross and Myles Hudson; and his best friend, Yorkie "Ben". Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dennis McNulty, Colin Crosen, and Bernard Sims officiating. Interment will be in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.
